Happy New Year! Thanks for including me in your mailout... Nothing changed here really, started another insurance agency. still playing alot (but i did quit the Classics. Bob Tildsely is doing the gig.) playing a lot with the ESO, and River City..lots of casual work. My sons will be 25 March 1, daughter Allison is 17 in April. Today is the birthdate of our departed daughter Jill, she would be 22. John Nikel passed away on Friday. Life, and death, are also constants... Are you playing? Are you married? Are you staying there? how long? etc etc etc. I hope this finds you in good health and spirits. Your pal. Doug z
I always wondered what a "Blog" was. It will take me a while to figure it out but I will be sure to keep abreast of the updates and add my few bits when necessary. Always great to hear from you my friend. Any side projects planned for this year? All good on this front. Braxton will start preschool this September. I personally attempted a start last Monday but went underwater a bit again. I intend to restart shortly. Mai is feeling much better. I almost have the playroom completed so we can start reorganizing. It will be a great place to meditate and do yoga even though I actually made it for Braxton and Squiggy (our "yet to be born"). I guess that is it for now. Thanks for keeping me in the loop. Take care, Ron
Ken, Awesome to hear from you . I've been wondering where in the world you've been ! How fab ... I get to live vicariously through your blog. Warren & I moved to Calgary a couple of years ago, I really like it here (on the dark side). Hope you are well & happy .. looking forward to keeping in touch. Elsie
Hi Uncle Ken! Great to have some more insight into your amazing adventures! How is life there! I hope your enjoying every minute of it! As for me, I'm in my second year of university, studying Nursing...which I'm sure you already knew. I'm busy going between classes and clinicals. I just finished a Complex Continuing Care placement and will be starting Obstetrics in a week. I think I will find my passion in Obstetrics, although righ tnow I like everything; but in this placement I will be doing maternal exams, helping moms through labour and helping in C-sections. School year is going by like a flash, I will be done in close to 2 months. I hope things are going well for you, if you're coming by Toronto let me know!
